SUMMARY:
Banking and finance; recovery of costs in civil actions for bad checks. Increases from $10 to $25 the amount a court may award the payee (or other holder) of a bad check for its processing costs. This bill conforms a bad check provision in the banking law to a parallel provision in § 8.01-27.1.
