SUMMARY:

Elections; use of voting equipment. Authorizes the local electoral board (for May general elections in addition to primary and special elections) to use, in one or more precincts, fewer voting machines or devices than the law now requires. The bill does not change the number of voting machines or devices required by law to be available in each locality and used in November elections. This number is based on the number of registered voters in each precinct.
