SUMMARY:
Physician-patient privileged communications. Provides that the section which requires (i) that disclosure of otherwise privileged communications between a physician and patient be made only pursuant to discovery in a civil action and (ii) the prohibition on contacts by lawyers with treating physicians except with the consent of the patient does not apply to court-ordered medical examinations.
