SB 1098 Local income tax.

SUMMARY:

Local income tax. Eliminates the requirement that the proceeds from a local income tax, which may be levied in certain Northern Virginia jurisdictions, be used only for transportation purposes. The five-year limit on the duration of any local income tax is repealed.
