SUMMARY:
Protective orders; firearms. Requires persons to whom protective orders are directed in cases of abuse or stalking of a family or household member to surrender to the court all firearms he or she then owns or possesses. Surrender must occur within 24 hours of service of the protective order. The court will hold the firearms until the protective order expires.
