SUMMARY:
Support cases; appeal. Clarifies the authority of the juvenile or family court to order bond in support cases involving criminal convictions for nonsupport or findings of criminal or civil contempt. An appearance bond, with or without surety, may be ordered pending appeal, and in addition, bond with surety may also be ordered to secure the payment of the amount of support which will accrue during the pendency of the appeal.
