SUMMARY:
Study; ergonomics resource center. Creates a 13-member joint subcommittee to study the development of an ergonomics resource center in the Commonwealth. Such a center would bring business, labor and university resources together to assist in reducing workplace accidents and injuries through the use of ergonomic design principles. This matter was referred by letter from the Speaker to the House Labor and Commerce Committee for study. The Senate Commerce and Labor Committee will be invited to participate in the study.
