SUMMARY:

Study; Chronic, Acute, and Cancer Pain Management. Continues the Joint Subcommittee to Study the Commonwealth's Current Laws and Policies Related to Chronic, Acute, and Cancer Pain Management for another year in order to receive data on the economic effects of pain management which is to be collected through pilot projects. The joint subcommittee has asked the Medical Society of Virginia to accept the funds left over from the subcommittee's symposium and to lead the effort to develop chronic pain guidelines for Virginia.
