SUMMARY:

Study: Virginia Uniform Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act. Establishes a joint legislative subcommittee to study the Virginia Uniform Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act and the 1995 Uniform Unclaimed Property Act passed by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. This matter was referred by letter from the Speaker to the House Corporations, Insurance and Banking for study. The Senate Committee on Commerce and Labor will be invited to participate in the study.
