SUMMARY:
Constitutional amendment (first resolution); House of Delegates; terms. Increases the term of office from two years to four years. If approved by the next General Assembly and by the people in a November 1998 referendum, the amendment could become effective for elections beginning in 1999 and place House of Delegates members on the same election cycle as Senate members.
