SUMMARY:
Sales and use tax exemption; educational organizations. Provides a sales and use tax exemption to organizations which (1) design, equip and operate educational telecommunications networks and classrooms serving schools and colleges within the Commonwealth and (2) support reading education programs for Virginia citizens. Southwest Virginia Education and Training Network and the Virginia State Reading Association would be among the beneficiaries of the exemption.
