SUMMARY:

Qualifications for admission to Virginia Military Institute. Requires that students who are admitted to the Institute as pay cadets or state cadets meet, in addition to the terms for admission prescribed by the board of visitors, the criteria prescribed by the U. S. Department of Defense in the Direct Ground Combat and Assignment Rule for the United States armed services.
