SUMMARY:
Enterprise Zone Act; permanent full-time positions. Expands the definition of a "permanent full-time position" to include jobs requiring a minimum of 1,680 hours of an employee's time per year, if the standard fringe benefits are paid by the employer. Under the Enterprise Zone Act, business firms are entitled to business income tax credits and grants for creating permanent full-time positions. Currently, a permanent full-time position requires 35 hours per week of an employee's time for normal year consisting of 48 weeks.
