SUMMARY:
Establishment of "no wake" zones. Authorizes counties, cities and towns, after giving notice to the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, to establish no wake zones in order to protect public safety and prevent erosion damage to adjacent property. Markers and buoys designating a no wake zone are to conform with requirements established by the Board of Game and Inland Fisheries. Markers or buoys which are not properly located or maintained are to be removed by the locality. The locality is authorized to include a penalty provision in its no wake ordinance.
