SUMMARY:
Election offenses generally; transporting voters. Prohibits the use of on-duty state or local government employees and state or local government vehicles to transport voters to the polls. Exceptions are made for authorized official use, for employees and vehicles employed for the purpose of public transportation and in cases in which a local govenment has by ordinance permitted transportation of senior citizens and the disabled. There is a Class 3 misdemeanor penalty for each person so transported.
