SUMMARY:
Use of firearm facsimile. Includes objects which look like firearms, whether or not they can be fired, within the prohibition on use of firearms in the commission of certain felonies. Violation is punishable by a minimum, mandatory term of three years for a first offense or five years for a second offense, whether an actual firearm or facsimile is used. This bill is intended to reverse the Court of Appeals decision in Sprouse v. Commonwealth.
