1997 SESSION
HB 2849 Division of Purchases and Supply; procurement regulations.
Introduced by: James K. O'Brien, Jr. | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Division of Purchases and Supply; procurement regulations. Requires the Division of Purchases and Supply to adopt regulations which establish the conditions under which a public body may use, as a basis for the procurement of goods and nonprofessional services, a particular vendor's contract-pricing which has been negotiated and accepted by the U.S. General Services Administration. The bill allows the state to use the pricing negotiated with a vendor by the federal government as to particular goods or services offered by that vendor to save a step in the state bidding process. The bill also contains technical amendments.
