SUMMARY:
Driving privileges for delinquent children; dismissal of charges. Removes the mandatory provisions for discharging the child and dismissing the proceedings against him if the child was found to be in violation of the statutes pertaining to DUI, refusal to take a blood or breath test, possession of alcohol, public intoxication, or unlawful possession of a handgun. With this change, the decision to dismiss the charges belongs to the court.
