SUMMARY:
Condominium and property owners' associations; nonpayment of assessments. Authorizes condominium and property owners' associations to discontinue any utility service provided directly through the association for nonpayment of assessments which are more than 60 days past due provided that such suspension does not endanger the health, safety or property of any unit owner, tenant or occupant. Currently, such associations have the right to suspend an owner's right to use facilities and nonessential services for nonpayment of assessments. Notice and opportunity to be heard before any such suspension are included in existing law.
