1997 SESSION
HB 2779 Protection of aged or incapacitated adults and reports of abuse, etc.
Introduced by: Robert F. McDonnell | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Protection of aged or incapacitated adults and reports of abuse, etc. Refines the reporting requirement for those required to report sexual abuse of adults to "within 24 hours of having the reason to suspect abuse" instead of "immediately." This avoids the need to interpret "immediately" and tracks the child abuse reporting requirement.
