HB 2768 Voluntary environmental assessment.

Introduced by: Clarence E. Phillips | all patrons    ...    notes | add to my profiles

SUMMARY:

Voluntary environmental assessment. Requires that any voluntary environmental assessment include a plan for taking corrective action for any incident of noncompliance. The bill also narrows the definition of "document" to include information generated or developed primarily for or in the course of an environmental assessment. The privilege that prevents the document from being admitted as evidence in a judicial or administrative proceeding will not apply when there has been a failure to promptly correct any noncompliance discovered during the assessment.
