SUMMARY:
Public assistance; Virginia Independence Program. Provides that any individual who is enrolled full time in, is making satisfactory progress in, and is within 12 months of completion of, a job training or educational program designed to result in self-sufficiency is exempt from the work requirement and two-year time limit on the receipt of aid to families with dependent children.
