SUMMARY:

Workforce Training Tuition Assistance Program and Fund. Establishes the Workforce Training Tuition Assistance Program and Fund, to be administered by the State Board for Community Colleges. Scholarships are available to residents of the Commonwealth who demonstrate financial need and are enrolled in designated noncredit workforce training programs that address the workforce training needs of new and expanding industries. The Virginia Economic Development Partnership is to advise the Board, upon request, regarding those training programs that address these workforce development needs.
