SUMMARY:
Insurance; admissibility of medical expenses under a motor vehicle liability policy. Provides that in actions for personal injuries, wrongful death or for motor vehicle insurance medical expense benefits, where medical services have been performed but no bill for services has been issued to an insured or an insurer, the usual and customary fee charged for the service may be established by an expert's testimony or affidavit.
The bill also establishes criteria for determining the reimbursement amounts for medical expenses incurred under a motor vehicle insurance policy's medical expense provision.
