SUMMARY:
Disclosure in conservation easements. Requires that any conservation easement executed after June 30, 1997, contain written statements of all limitations and obligations created by the conservation easement in order to be valid. A consent form acknowledging an understanding of the obligations and restrictions is also required for the conservation easement to be valid. The consent form is to contain the name, address and, if applicable, the organizational purpose of the easement holder. The form is to also indicate whether the grantor has consulted an attorney and, if so, information identifying the attorney.
