SUMMARY:

Securities; registration. Eliminates the July 1, 1997, sunset on the provision which allows the SCC by rule to exempt from the securities and agent registration an offer made by or on behalf of an issuer for the sole purpose of soliciting an indication of interest in receiving a prospectus for a security.
