SUMMARY:

State Police Officers' Retirement System; disability benefit. Provides that any SPORS member who is eligible to take a disability retirement and meets minimum age and years of service requirements may elect to receive the higher of his disability retirement allowance (less any workers' compensation payments) or his normal service retirement allowance (which includes the SPORS supplement).
