SUMMARY:

Gender. Defines terminology used throughout the Code relating to sex discrimination to include discrimination based upon pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions. The bill codifies the decision of the Virginia Supreme Court in Bailey v. Lee-Gallagher.
