SUMMARY:
Evaluations of habitual offenders for restoration of driving privilege. Allows a court to require that, upon any petition for restoration for driving privileges by an habitual offender where an evaluation is not otherwise specifically required or authorized, the court may require that the offender submit to an evaluation and monitoring by the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program. This bill is recommended by VASAP.
