SUMMARY:

License suspension; drug offenses. Provides that during any sentencing proceeding, the court shall only suspend the defendant's driver's license for one six-month period notwithstanding the number of drug convictions before the court. Under existing law, the court is authorized to suspend the defendant's driver's license six months for each drug conviction before the court (e.g. 6 six-month license suspensions for six drug convictions).
