SUMMARY:

Campaign fundraising activities; legislative sessions. The bill also prohibits any person or political committee from making or promising to make any contribution to these officials' campaign committees during the prohibited period. The restrictions do not apply to contributions by members and statewide officials of their personal funds, contributions for special elections, contributions solicited by members or statewide officials for political party and caucus committees, and contributions to a member or official who has active opposition for nomination or election to office.
