SUMMARY:

Parking fines; rented vehicles. Provides that rental car companies shall be responsible for any fines and penalties incurred by renters who violate local parking ordinances. Such companies shall not be responsible for the payment of parking fines if (i) the rental agreement does not designate that the renter is responsible for the payment of parking fines and (ii) the company does not obtain the renter's credit card information.
