SUMMARY:
Eminent domain; condemnation by a housing authority. Requires the commissioners to hear evidence on the value of the condemned property including, but not limited to, the owner's appraisal, recent tax assessments, and the effect that any pending application for a zoning change, special use permit application, or variance application may have on the value of the property. Housing authorities are also required to provide to the property owners notice of their legal rights and any appraisal authorized by the authority.
