SUMMARY:

Certificates of public need. Authorizes the Commissioner of Health to extend the period for which any nursing facility that is part of any continuing care provider registered pursuant to Chapter 49 (§ 38.2-4900 et seq.) of Title 38.2 was allowed to admit patients other than continuing care contract holders as a condition of filing and receiving a certificate of public need issued pursuant to an exception to the moratorium previously required by § 32.1-102.3:2.
