1997 SESSION
HB 2419 Pollbooks.
Introduced by: Lacey E. Putney | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Pollbooks. Eliminates the requirement for a second voter registration list, or pollbook, to be maintained at the polls and retained in the custody of the voter registrar for five years after the election. The information presently required to be recorded in the second list or pollbook is to be recorded in the original voter registration list. The general registrar already must retain the original voter registration list for four years once the State Board of Elections has used it to update records and returned it to the registrar.
