SUMMARY:
Licensure of certain health care facilities. Requires all facilities licensed by the Board of Health which provide active treatment or care for hemophiliacs in a specialized clinic or program and, in the course of such treatment, stock clotting factors, to maintain at least two full doses of such clotting factors for each regular patient in order that, in the event a hemophiliac patient is hospitalized with bleeding and must have a clotting factor, the hemophiliac patient will receive an appropriate standard of care. Failure to so stock clotting factors when actively treating hemophiliacs through a specialized clinic or program will be reported to the licensure office within the Department of Health.
