SUMMARY:

State Council of Higher Education Selection Commission. Creates the nine-member State Council of Higher Education Selection Commission, whose members will be appointed by the Governor, the Speaker of the House of Delegates, and the Senate Committee on Privileges and Elections. The sole purpose of the Commission is to select and appoint members of the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). Currently, SCHEV members are appointed by the Governor.
