SUMMARY:

Service upon a corporation. Allows for service on a corporation in a garnishment proceeding by service on the registered agent or on the State Corporation Commission. The bill eliminates the authority to serve an officer or managing employee of the corporation and removes the requirement that, prior to serving a registered agent or the SCC, the party establish that no other person authorized to accept service could be found.
