Introduced by: Marian Van Landingham | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
VHDA; disapproval of housing developments. Adds a second condition under which a local governing body may disapprove of a proposed housing development, namely, that the new construction or substantial rehabilitation of the proposed multi-family residential development is not consistent with the local governing body's consolidated plan prepared pursuant to federal requirements. Currently, a locality may disapprove of such housing development if it finds that it is not consistent with current zoning or other applicable land use regulations.
