1997 SESSION
HB 2261 Board of Housing and Community Development.
Introduced by: Alan A. Diamonstein | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Housing; Board of Housing and Community Development. Increases from 12 to 14 the number of members of the State Technical Review Board, in order to include one Class A plumbing contractor and one Class A heating and cooling contractor. The bill also empowers the Board of Housing and Community Development to appoint an ad hoc advisory committee whenever it proposes changes to the building and fire regulations. The bill repeals the membership changes made in 1995 to the Board of Housing and Community Development, which changes would have become effective July 1, 1997; as a result, the current composition of the HCD Board will not change.
