SUMMARY:

Commonwealth Day of Prayer and Religious Freedom Day. Designates the first Thursday in May of each year as the Commonwealth Day of Prayer and designates January 16 of each year as Religious Freedom Day in honor of the date of enactment of the Virginia Act for Religious Freedom in 1786.
