SUMMARY:
Aid to families with dependent children and the Virginia Independence Program; use of monetary savings. Provides that all the monetary savings generated from the 1994 Welfare Reform Act will be estimated by the Department of Planning and Budget and deposited into a special fund for the 1998-2000 fiscal year biennium. The fund will then be appropriated by the General Assembly, but only for the purpose of improving Virginia's public schools.
