SUMMARY:
Civil remedies; approval of compromises on behalf of persons under disability. Raises to A++ the required rating of an insurance company responsible for making the payments when personal injury or death claims are settled for the benefit of minors or others who may be under a disability and when the payments are to be made over a period of time. Currently, the insurance company responsible for making the payments must be rated "A+" by A.M. Best. "A+" is no longer the highest rating for insurers.
