1997 SESSION
HB 2206 Marine Resources Commission membership.
Introduced by: Robert S. Bloxom | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Marine Resources Commission membership. Staggers the terms of the six members of the Marine Resources Commission whose terms are due to expire on the same date. The bill would end the terms of these six members on July 1, 1997, whereupon they would be re-appointed in the following manner: two to be appointed for two-year terms, two for three-year terms, and two for four-year terms. Thereafter, all terms will be for four years. It is anticipated that the staggering of the terms of the commission members will add more continuity to work of the Commission.
