SUMMARY:

Unclaimed wild game. Allows nonprofit organizations that are (i) organized to provide wild game to the hungry and (ii) authorized to possess unclaimed meat, to obtain such meat from a processor. The processor will be able to charge a fee to the nonprofit organizations in an amount that will allow the processor to recoup his cost for processing the unclaimed wild game. Currently, it is illegal for anyone to sell, offer to purchase, or purchase any wild bird or wild animal or the carcass or any part thereof.
