SUMMARY:

Alcoholic beverage control; sale of alcoholic beverages by persons under 18 years of age. Prohibits any person in the Northern Virginia Planning District from allowing anyone employed by him under the age of 18 years to sell, serve, or dispense any alcoholic beverages. Currently, the sale of alcoholic beverages by persons under 18 years of age is prohibited only for on-premises consumption. Hardship exceptions are provided. The bill also requires the ABC Board to study this issue and contains a reenactment clause.
