1997 SESSION
HB 2109 Corporations; annual registration fees, annual reports.
Introduced by: Harry J. Parrish | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Corporations; annual registration fees; annual reports. Amends provisions of corporate law related to the filing of annual registration fees and annual reports. This bill replaces the required due date for these reports and fees, which is presently the same date for all corporations. The proposed change in due dates for these fees and reports designates the month in which the corporation was incorporated or authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth as the month during which annual reports and filing fees would be due to the State Corporation Commission. The State Corporation Commission can adjust this due date to distribute receipt of these materials and fees as equally as practicable throughout the year. Corresponding changes are made to the provisions of law dictating the date of automatic revocation of certificate of authority and corporate existence.
