SUMMARY:

Appointment of counsel for indigent prisoners. Allows a court in a jurisdiction in which a state correctional facility is located to fix the duration of term of appointment for counsel appointed, upon request of the Commonwealth's attorney, to represent indigent prisoners. The minimum term of appointment is 30 days and the maximum is one year.
