SUMMARY:
Sales and use tax exemption; nonprofit civic and community service organizations. Grants a sales and use tax exemption to organizations which are organized exclusively for the purpose of rendering mutual aid to sick, disabled and needy members and their families; promoting social and intellectual activities among its members and their families; and promoting and conducting educational, charitable, religious, social welfare and public relief work. The Columbians, Inc., would be among the beneficiaries of the exemption.
