SUMMARY:

Voluntary tax refund contributions; Department for the Aging. Establishes an income tax refund check-off for voluntary contributions to the Department for the Aging for the enhancement of transportation services for the elderly and disabled. This measure is applicable to taxable years beginning on and after January 1, 1997. A similar tax refund check-off provision expired on December 31, 1995.
